Last year, the Formula E racing series teased a dramatic redesign of its race cars that took the more traditional F1-styling into the future. This week, the new Gen2 model broke cover and it looks like we've finally got the futuristic race cars we've been waiting for. One of the best looking liveries that debuted this week came via Nissan's Global Design team in Japan with a grey, black, and red livery that looks like a fighter jet from 2049.

Nissan is the first Japanese automaker to join Formula E and will join the all-electric racing league later this year.
