Mini plans to take the brand into the future in 2019 with an all-electric series-production model. Building off of what they learned from their Mini E trials, the company's electric car will be a Mini through and through with that familiar silhouette, hexagonal grille, round lights, and that city-friendly size.

The concept has a more technical look than its gas-powered predecessors with a more futuristic look and aerodynamic inlays that are manufactured through a 3D printing process. One of the most clever details references its British heritage with rear light assemblies that are shaped into two halves that create a Union Jack LED dot matrix.
