Mini E

Buying a Prius isn't really sticking it to OPEC, if you really want to get their panties in a bunch you'll want to fill out an application for the new Mini E. The 204 horsepower Mini E is the company's first foray into all-electric vehicles with a lithium ion battery powered motor that is capable of traveling up to 150 miles on a single charge. Initially there will be only 500 Mini E's up for lease in California, New York, and New Jersey beginning early next year. Mini E owners will also receive a wallbox with higher amperage to allow for shorter charging times when recharging the electric motor. A full charge using the wallbox only takes two and a half hours. If you're interested in being one of the lucky 500, Mini will be taking applications in Mid-November. More pictures after the jump. Link
