Mercedes continues to build anticipation for the next-generation G-Class and now that we've seen the modernized interior, the company has officially revealed its camo-wrapped prototype. Fans who were hoping that the G-Class would maintain its boxy shape will be happy to see that not a whole lot has changed in the new model.

One area that has received a lot of focus is the G's off-road capability, which will boast three 100% differential locks, a low-range off-road ratio, and an AMG-developedi ndependent suspension with double-wishbone front axle and a rigid rear axle. The car will also introduce a new "G-Mode" off-road driving mode, a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission that is accompanied by a new transfer case, and permanent all-wheel-drive.
