Mercedes has a new option for the van life community with its first pop up camper van for the US market. Built by Driverge Vehicle Innovations, the Weekender modernizes the classic camper van with an upgraded Metris that has standard features like an elevating roof that opens to reveal a windowed sleeping area for two complete with USB ports for charging all your accessories. It also features a multi-purpose rear bench that can fold up into a two-person bed and the seats are also on rails to adjust the interior space for your storage needs. The front seats of the car can rotate 180 degrees to face the rear and a second battery is equipped to power all your devices. When it comes to options, there are plenty. Everything from integrated solar panels to a variety of wrap options and a selection of camping-specfic upgrades.
