The new Mercedes-Benz GLE is getting a bit more grunt under the hood with the addition of the GLE 580 4MATIC, which will be powered by an electrified V8. The V8 brings quite a bit of power. We're talking AMG-worthy power. The engine will produce 483 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque with an EQ Boost system that adds another 184 lb-ft of torque and 21 additional horses. The SUV will also be equipped with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, a 48-volt E-Active Body Control suspension, and the latest MBUX tech with voice control and a dual 12.3" digital instrument cluster.

The GLE 580 4MATIC will go on sale later this year.
