Mercedes Aesthetics "A"

You can always look to Mercedes to gauge where automotive design is going and you better believe that automakers are keeping a close eye on what's coming next. The company is previewing their latest design language with the their "Aeshetics A" sculpture, a design that not only previews their new styling, but also gives us a look at the upcoming A-Class sedan.

The crease lines that mark every modern Mercedes have vanished and Chief Design Officer, Gorden Wagener, has been quoted as saying: "In combination with perfect proportions and sensual surface design, the upcoming generation of the compact class has the potential to herald a new design era. Design is also the art of omission: the days of creases are over."
