McLaren MSO 'Albert' Speedtail

McLaren has revealed one of its boldest Speedtail commissions with a car inspired by one of its original prototypes. The 'Albert' features a special livery that mixes two colors used on race cars from their past: Magnesium Silver and Ueno Grey. Commissioned by McLaren of Beverly Hills, the 'Albert' Speedtail was built at the McLaren Production Center with a 1K gloss visual carbon fiber body that required twelve weeks of work to complete the unique paint work. The process also required the car to be disassembled for a perfect application and once the first application was set, McLaren treated and refitted every panel to ensure everything was aligned to get ready for a clearcoating.

The 'Albert' Speedtail will be on display at Sunset GT, a cars and coffee gathering hosted by O'Gara Beverly Hills on August 8th at Sunset Plaza in Los Angeles.
