McLaren is adding a new 720S to the stable with the introduction of the 720S Spider. The Spider's Monocage II-S carbon fiber core requires no additional strengthening as it already has an integrated rollover protection structure and makes no compromises when it comes to performance. Though the car's top speed lowers to 202 mph with the roof down, the Spider can still hit 212 mph just like the coupe when the top is up.

The 710 hp 4.0L V8 gets the Spider from 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds and the seven-speed transmission will feature comfort, sport, and track driving modes. It will also have a carbon fiber roof system that is electrically actuated and lowers and raises in 11 seconds, faster than any other supercar in its class. The roof's glass panel can also be equipped electrochromic technology that lets you instantly darken and lighten the tint.

The 720S Spider is now available for ordering.
