The fourth car to use the 'Longtail' name in twenty years, the new 600LT is the latest Sports Series McLaren and is the most powerful and track-focused model in the Sports Series lineup. Drawing inspiration from the 675LT, the car builds on the success of the 570 platform and ups the ante with a 3.8L twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque.

It will also be 6 lbs lighter than the 570S and features custom Pirelli PZero Trofeo R tires, carbon fiber bodywork that extends the car by 2.9 inches, a new front splitter, side sills, diffuser, a fixed rear wing, and weight-saving top-exit exhaust pipes. Other features include a lightweight braking system from the 720s, lightweight carbon fiber seats from the McLaren Senna, and an optional carbon fiber roof and louvers.

The 600LT is available now for ordering and goes into production this October.
