The high-end SUV space is about to get even more competitive as Maserati joins the fray with the Levante. The luxury SUV will be the fifth model in the range joining the Quatroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo, and GranCabrio. The car's styling is aggressive and sleek, perfectly capturing the company's design language in SUV form.
The company has yet to talk performance numbers though they have announced that the car will be available with both gas and diesel powertrains. A number of important feature will be standard across the line, including their “Q4” intelligent all-wheel-drive system, a specially tuned 8-speed automatic, and adjustable electronic suspension with controlled damping and air springs. The car will be built in Turin, Italy and will hit Europe this Spring with the rest of the world to follow later in the year.
