One of the most unique concept cars of its time, the Maserati Boomerang was quite the head-turner when it made its debut at the 1971 Turin Motor Show. One of the most famous designs Giorgetto Giugiaro ever penned, the Boomerang was built on the chassis of a Maserati Bora and produced 300 hp from its V8 and was capable of hitting over 180 mph.

Today, the car is still in incredible operating condition and is road registered. The one-of-a-kind concept will hit the auction block this September at Bonham's Chantilly sale on September 5th which will take place at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance Richard Mille in France.
