Forget the Matthew McConaughey commercials for a second, Lincoln is reintroducing one of its most important models: The Lincoln Continental. A preview of what's to come from next year's production model, the new Continental is everything you would wish for in an American luxury sedan: incredible presence, elegant detailing, and the quiet ride that makes a Lincoln, a Lincoln.

The first thing you'll notice is the all-new one piece centered grille with a Lincoln star graphic pattern which sits in front of a 3.0L V6 EcoBoost engine that is exclusive to the brand. Other details include "E-Latch" door handles that sit in along the car's beltline, an SPD SmartGlass tinting sunroof that blocks almost 100% of UV rays and helps lower the car's interior temperature by 18 degrees.

On the inside you'll find first-class seating wrapped in ambient lighting that softly illuminates the interior and music will come from their flagship Revel Ultima system which also features Active Noise Control to further complement the car's quiet ride.

We can't wait to see what the final product looks like, but Lincoln is saying this is a "strong indication" of what we'll see hit production next year and we could not be more excited.
