Land Rover announces a limited run of factory-restored Seres 1 SUVs

25 hand-picked examples straight from Land Rover Classic.

Making its debut at Techno-Classica in Essen, Germany, Land Rover made a huge announcement for fans of their classic SUVs. The company will launch a new Series 1 "Reborn" initiative that will have Land Rover Classic selecting 25 original examples to be full restored and put up for sale. 

The cars will be carefully and perfectly restored to the original 1948 specification and each example will use original parts. The cars will be available in five period finishes that include Light Green, Bronze Green, RAF Blue, Dove Grey and Poppy Red. Customers will be able to follow the process from beginning to end and each model will be restored at the new Classic Workshop that's located at the original Defender production facility in Solihull, England.
