The Range Rover Sport is receiving a new HST trim package with a 3.0L inline six and a 48V mild hybrid system. The engine will feature a twin-scroll turbocharger that works in tandem with the hybrid system to help reduce turbo lag. The engine will produce 394-hp and 406 lb-ft of torque allowing for a 0-62 time of 5.9 seconds and a top speed of 140 mph.

The gas engine will be coupled with a 48V mild hybrid that is designed to store energy in its battery from regenerative braking and also helps improve the SUV's fuel economy. Exterior updates include carbon fiber trim accents, HST-specific red or grey anodized brake calipers, and the interior receives an update color pattern and suedecloth detailing.
