Land Rover Classic has announced the Defender Works V8 Trophy, a limited edition of 25 Defenders inspired by their legendary Camel Trophy vehicles. Based on the Defender Works V8 models from 2012-2016, the re-engineered SUVs will be powered by 400 hp 5.0L V8 engines and are available in both the 90 and 110 body styles, all of which will have automatic transmissions and updated suspension, steering, and brake packages. Defender Works V8 Trophy models will be finished in Eastnor Yellow paint with Narvik Black accents and matching yellow 16-inch steel wheels.
Each vehicle will be equipped with a variety of upgrades and accessories that include LED headlamps, a Heritage front grille, Land Rover Trophy badging, a black Windsor leather interior, a front winch, multi-point expedition cage, roof rack, underbody protection, A-bar, raised air intake, LED spotlights, and mud-terrain tires. Customers will also be offered an entry into a Land Rover Trophy adventure competition at Eastnor Castle, which is considered trhe spiritual home of Land Rover's testing and development.
The Defender Works V8 Trophy will only be available in the UK, Europe, MENA, Africa, and Oceania markets.
