Joining last week's Huracán EVO Spyder announcement is the reveal of the SVJ Aventador Roadster. The ultimate expression of the Aventador now comes in a roof-less model complete with a naturally aspirated V12 that produces 770 hp and 531 lb-ft of torque. This translates into a 0-62 time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed in excess of 217 mph.
The roadster's roof is made out of lightweight, high pressure RTM carbon fiber, which can be easily removed with the car's quick release levers and can then be stored in the front hood. Limited to 800 examples, the latest SVJ will also feature the latest version of the company's ALA aerodynamics system, rear-wheel steering, Lamborghini Dynamic Steering, a seven-speed Independent Shifting Road transmission, Magneto Rheological Suspension, and lightweight 'Nireo' aluminum wheels.
The Aventador SVJ hits dealers this summer.
