Kindred Motorworks unveils its electrified Bronco
Kindred Motorworks has unveiled an electrified version of the classic Ford Bronco, giving it an electric AWD dual motor powertrain with an 80 kWh battery and DC fast charging support. Using Broncos from 1966-1977, the EV Bronco produces 402 hp and 492 lb-ft of torque and features front and rear Wavetrac Limited Slip Differentials, four-wheel power disc brakes, regenerative braking, an automatic electronic parking brake, power rack and pinion steering, an independent front suspension, and a multi-link coil spring rear suspension.
The Bronco also comes equipped with removable doors, intermittent wipers, a reinforced and power coated frame, keyless entry, an automatic step with LED lighting, full undercoating, LED lighting, a soft top, soft open tailgate, and a magnetically contained 12v battery maintainer. Inside, the car comes with an LCD gauge cluster, custom leather upholstery, a premium audio system with CarPlay and Android Auto support, and a Magsafe wireless charging dock.
