Jeep is adding luxury automaker to its resume with the new Wagoneer sub-brand
Jeep is taking a stab at the luxury market with the launch of Wagoneer as an entirely new sub-brand that will focus on luxury vehicles. The brand has revealed its plans with the Grand Wagoneer concept, a big, full-size SUV that wears a modern reinterpretation of the seven-slot grille that features Obsidian Black-accented detailing and latticework, a full-width LED light strip, and twin bi-functional LED projector headlamps that are wrapped in teak wood.
The big and boxy exterior opens to reveal a spacious seven-seat cabin with front and second-row captain's chairs, customizable ambient lighting, expansive windows, sustainable materials, and a whole array of screens that even includes a 10.25" display for the passenger seat. Hi-Fi fans will appreciate the audio system with its exclusive partnership with McIntosh, who has developed a custom, 23-speaker audio system with a 24-channel amplifier.
