The compact crossover category is about to be injected with some serious visual flair via folks over at Infiniti. Billed as a "premium active crossover", Infiniti designed the QX30 to be a versatile, all-wheel-drive car that's right at home on any road whether its right in the heart of a downtown core or cruising around the countryside. The low-slung roofline and the aggressive stance gives it a coupe-like feel while still offering a roomy, luxurious cabin.
Comfort, luxury, and ergonomics were key for the interior of the car with options like black cloth or nappa leather interiors and seatbacks that are specifically engineered to match the curvature of the spine to reduce pressure on your muscles while wider seat arrangements allow for support and comfort for longer drives.
A silent cabin was also achieved with materials that reduce wind and engine noise and rigid body structure dampens vibration and noise from tough rough surfaces. No word on what engine options will be available other than gas and diesel models depending on market and both will be matched with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. The new QX30 will arrive in showrooms in the middle of 2016.
