Icon launches its "Old School" builds
Situated between its TLC 4x4 restorations and its no-compromises Icon line, the "Old School" builds are for those who want an Icon build, but would prefer a more classic aesthetic with all the modern amenities.
The first Old School Icon build will be based on the 1970 FJ40 Land Cruiser, which will feature a Moore & Giles leather interior, billet aluminum details, and ICON-exclusive Dakota Digital gauges.
The FJ's body is handcrafted using 5052-grade aluminum that's powercoated in their own proprietary finish and it also receives color-matched custom alloy wheels and hubcaps. Power comes from a four-cylinder Cummins R2.8L Turbo Diesel that produces 161 hp, 267 lb-ft of torque, and is matched with a AX-15 5-speed manual transmission.
The "Old School" program will be available for the FJ40, FJ43, FJ44, and FJ45.
