For their first concept, Genesis previews the future of the brand with what they're calling the "New York Concept," a sleek, high-tech sports sedan ready to take on the likes of the C-Class, A4, and 3-Series. The car will feature a 2.0 GDi hybrid engine that sits at the core of a design that the company describes as "Athletic Elegance" mixed with modern luxury.
The cabin of the car showcases a futuristic interior filled with luxurious amenities and a high-tech array of technological features that includes a 21-inch floating, 4K curved screen developed in collaboration with LG. This massive screen is the center of their Human Machine Interface concept that collects the instrument cluster and center stack in one place. This is all controlled by multi-touch gestures and rotary dials as well as 3D-gesture control system that lets you do things like virtually "throw" content to another screen.
