Gooding always has a multitude of gems at their world renowned car auctions, but this year they've got something pretty special for Mercedes collectors. The auction house has come across not one, but two 300 SLs in Gullwing and Roadster form from one family that has owned the cars since they were new.

First up is the 1955 300 SL Gullwing, which was purchased in a rare British Racing Green with a tan leather interior. The car is in original condition, has never been restored, and only has 16,000 miles on it. After purchasing the Gullwing, the collector acquired a 1957 300 SL Roadster, which was purchased in Silver-Blue Metallic with a gray leather interior and has just 38,000 miles and even has the original matching Karl Baisch luggage set.

Both cars will go on sale at Gooding's Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance auction this August.
