Genesis unveils the all-electric GV70
Genesis is putting their EV tech into their GV70 SUV with an electrified version that uses the company's 400V/800V multi-rapid charging system. The innovative system allows for the car to charge on either 400V or 800V charging infrastructures without the use of a converter. While the SUV's exterior remains mostly the same as its gas-powered counterpart, a number of aerodynamic enhancements have been made to enhance efficiency.
When it comes to performance and efficiency, the all-electric GV70 is capable of a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds and a rapid charging time of 10% to 80% in just under 20 minutes. IT even has a V2L (Vehicle to Load) feature that is can produce a 3.6kW charge, giving the GV70 the ability to power electric-hungry appliances and devices. The car also features an all-wheel-drive system, ANC-R for reducing cabin noise, and a suspension system that can monitor your surroundings to improve ride quality.
Range and availability (yes, it's coming to the US) will be announced at a later date.
