Genesis Essentia Concept

Amongst the many debuts at the New York Auto Show, Genesis wowed much of the press with their all-electric Essentia Concept. The sleek grand tourer showcases the brand's “Athletic Elegance” design language in its ultimate form with a lightweight carbon-fiber monocoque, a multi-motor electric powertrain, and its most stunning detail: a transparent hood that seamlessly blends into the windshield to create this almost one-piece, glass-like sculpture.

This is all powered by a high-density battery pack combined with an array of electric motors, which is placed in the car's center tunnel, allowing them to create that low, 50-inch roofline and the spacious interior. The interior of the car features mixed-materials with a high-fashion/high-tech influence combining leather, aluminum, and layered carbon fiber.
