Ford is continuing its Heritage Edition series with a new addition that celebrates the GT40 Mark IV race car, which won Le Mans in 1967. Piloted by American duo, Dan Gurney and A.J. Foyt, the Shelby American team sped their V8-powered GT40 to victory, surpassing the best that Ferrari and Porsche had to offer.
The Ford GT ’67 Heritage edition will feature a glossy Race Red exterior with white stripes and exposed carbon fiber. The white elements on the hood and door are finished Frozen White No. 1 while the tires are equipped with 20-inch one-piece forged aluminum wheels in a silver satin clearcoat.
The interior will have leather-trimmed carbon fiber seats with red stitching, red seat belt webbing, anodized grey paddle shifters, matte exposed carbon door sills, and satin dark stainless trim.
A limited quantity of Heritage Edition Ford GTs will be available for the 2018 model year.
