It would be an enormous understatement to say that Ford's performance division is firing on all cylinders. With the new Mustang GT350 and GT350R, the new Raptor, the new GT, the Blue Oval has delivered an entire Starfleet of high-horsepower road weapons. And the story isn't over yet, Ford is introducing an all-new RS for the 2017 model year and for the first time ever it will make its way stateside.

Powered by a four-cylinder 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, the third-generation RS will produce more than 315 hp and is coupled with All-Wheel Drive with Dynamic Torque Vectoring Control. It will also feature a six-speed manual with a shorter gear lever for quicker shifting and both the transmission and clutch have been strengthened due to better handle the engine's increased torque.

Inside the RS you'll find Recaro sport seats, a racing-inspired flat bottom steering wheel, a performance cluster that gives you stats on turbo boost pressure, oil temperature, and oil pressure, and Ford's sync infotainment system which can be spec'd with a 10 speaker Sony soundsystem and various parking aids.
