Audi just introduced the fifth-generation of its best-selling A4 and its signature styling is now enhanced with a sharper lines and a lighter, but larger body. Aiming to set the bar in its class, the new A4 will be competing against the C-Class and 3-Series with lots of new hi-tech toys and a variety of new efficient and powerful engine options.

No word yet on what America will be getting in terms of engines, but the car will launch in Germany with TSFI gas and TDI diesel engines rated up to 272 hp and have been designed to offer lower carbon emissions. These engines will also be coupled with the S Tronic, Tiptronic, or manual transmissions.

On the technology end you'll find the latest version of MMI, Audi Virtual Cockpit, Audi Matrix LED lighting, a new heads up display, wireless charging, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system with 3D sound.

The new Audi A4 will launch in Germany this fall and a release in America has yet to be announced.
