Ferrari's V6-powered supercar gets a folding hard-top with the reveal of the 296 GTS. Joining the GTB, the GTS continues to evolve the model line's high-performance V6, which now delivers 818 hp and 545 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-62 time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of over 205 mph. It also uses a plug-in hybrid system that enhances responsiveness and can even manage 15 miles of all-electric range when in eDrive mode.

Its biggest new feature is the lightweight retractable hard-top that features a mechanism that takes just 14 seconds to retract or deploy at speeds of up to 27 mph. This is paired with a height-adjustable glass rear screen to enhance cabin comfort at high speeds. The company has also announced an Assetto Fiarano option that adds Multimatic shock absorbers, lightweight carbon fiber aero upgrades on the front bumper, and an exclusive livery inspired by the 250 Le Mans car.
