Tesla might have a serious new threat to consider and according to Faraday Future it has only taken them 18 months to develop their potentially game-changing Variable Platform Architecture. The platform, of which their FFZERO1 concept is built on will also serve as the platform for the company's production cars.

Capable of supporting a variety of car types, FFZERO1 showcases the versatility of the platform with a hypercar concept that would feature four motors, more than 1,000-hp, a 0-60 time of under three seconds, and a top speed of over 200 mph.

The futuristic, single-seater automobile was inspired by NASA research, placing the driver in a weightless body position at a 45-degree angle to allow for better circulation. They've even created what they call a Halo Safety System that features integrated head and neck support and oxygen and water supply that is distributed through a helmet. Though the FFZERO1 is currently a concept, a limited production run has not been ruled out.
