The Defender OCTA turns the iconic SUV into an all-terrain super off-roader
The Defender brand has unveiled OCTA, its new flagship SUV that is set to be the ultimate combination of off-road luxury and performance. The most powerful Defender ever produced, OCTA is powered by a 4.4L Twin Turbo mild-hybrid V8 that produces 626 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a 0-60 time of just 3.8 seconds and can reach a top speed of 155 mph when equipped with the 22" lightweight alloy wheels and all-season tires. And it's not just fast, the company upped the capability ante with 6D Dynamics suspension technology that enhances vehicle agility and comfort on any terrain.
The exterior has been given a more muscular look with 33" tires, extended wheel arches, off-road ready front bodywork with a new grille design, a new rear bumper, and an aluminum under shield with a graphite finish and exposed Phosphor Bronze front and rear recovery points. The interior has also been overhauled and comes available with options like rugged Ultrafabric upholstery while new Performance Seats bring larger bolsters, integrated headrests, and Body and Soul Seat audio technology that gives passengers a more immersive music experience.
Orders for the Defender OCTA are now open.
