Chevy is adding some serious power to the Tahoe and Suburban for the 2018 model year with the addition of the RST Special Edition. The SUVs will be getting a 6.2L V8 that pushes out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. This lets the Tahoe get from 0-60 in under six seconds and it will have a towing capacity of 8,400 lbs.

This will be paired with a brand-new 10-speed Hydra-Matic 10L80 transmission, performance-tuned Magnetic Ride Control, and a whole suite of performance upgrades that include a Borla exhaust, six-piston Brembo brakes, and Duralife rotors. Other features include 22-inch wheels, body-color grille surrounds, and gloss-black exterior elements.
