
Cadillac announces plans to compete in IMSA and WEC with a new V-Series prototype
The Cadillac LMDh will make its debut at the 2023 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
Cadillac is planning to race in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and the Automobile Club de I'Ouest LMDh category in 2034 with a new fourth-generation Cadillac V-Series prototype. The hybrid-powered race car is being designed to meet IMSA and ACO Le Mans Daytona hybrid specifications for the new top-tier enduring racing classic that will replace the current DPi class. The LMDh is a partnership between GM Design and Dallara and Cadillac will race under Chip Ganassi Racing and Action Express Racing when it makes its debut at the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona in January 2023.
