Cadillac previews its flagship EV sedan with the reveal of the Celestiq show car
The American sedan isn't dead quite yet...well, according to Cadillac. The company is introducing a new EV flagship that's rumored to be the priciest Cadillac the company has ever produced. The new Celestiq has been previewed in its "show car" form taking the heritage and styling cues of its big luxury sedans into the future with handcrafted details and the company's Ultium EV architecture. Cadillac is still keeping its performance numbers under wraps for now but the reveal today does offer up a look at what to expect technology-wise with features such as a Smart Glass Roof with Suspended Particle Device that enables variable lighting for each passenger and a jaw-dropping 55" display with digital blinds and active privacy technology that lets the passenger discretely view video content without distracting the driver.
Final specs and details will be revealed later this year.
