A Bruce Canepa-designed 911 S is going up for sale
Famed refurbisher and dealer Bruce Canepa has got quite the 911 for sale. Canepa wanted to build the perfect 911 S and found a great example in Washington complete with all of its period sheet metal, no damage or rust and a numbers matching engine.
The 1967 911 then got a thorough nut and bolt restoration that included restoring the brakes, transmission, powdercoating the suspension, and a careful refinishing of the Fuchs wheels, which were paired with 185/70/15 Avon tires.
As for the engine, the 2.0L flat-six was completely rebuilt by Rothsport Racing, who increased it to 2.2L and installed new pistons, bearings, bolts, timing chains, and an oil pump while the original S cams and heads remain intact.
