As if it wasn't obvious enough, the late, great Steve Jobs had good taste when it came to his personal possessions. Whether it was his love for Hi-Fi products or his famous Issey Miyake-designed turtlenecks, the Apple co-founder certainly had a great appreciation for the finer things in life.
One of these examples is about to go up for sale for the RM Auctions Icons event in New York. We're talking about one of the most beautiful cars to ever come out of BMW, the Henrik Fisker-penned Z8. A modern take on the 507 roadster, the Z8 was a limited edition halo car showcasing the latest and greatest BMW technologies such as its extruded aluminum space frame construction and its powerful 400-hp V8 engine.
Jobs owned the car for four years and it's been said that best friend and Oracle founder Larry Ellison inspired the purchase. The car has only had a few owners since then and only has 15,200 miles. The car will include a number of accessories including the official hardtop, hardtop stand, owner and service manuals, two sets of keys, navigation discs, and a BMW-branded Motorola flip phone.
