The X6's little brother is back with an all-new design that brings a sportier look and sportier proportions. With over 200,000 X4s sold since its debut in 2014, BMW hopes to keep that momentum going with a next-gen model that grows in size by 3 inches, gains an extra 1.4 inches of width, and gets a little lower to further accentuate its sportier look and feel.
The car will be available in an X4 xDrive30i model and the line's first M model, the X4 M40i. The xDrive30i will produce 248-hp and 258 lb-ft of torque while the M40i will put out 355-hp and 365 lb-ft of torque. The former will get from 0-60 in 6 six seconds while the latter M Series model will get from 0-60 in just 4.6 seconds.
Other features will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen display standard, a 75% larger multi-color heads up display, an array of driver safety technologies, standard 19-inch wheels, panoramic moonroof, and three-zone climate control.
