BMW is getting ready to unveil its next-generation M4 to the world and before its worldwide debut in September, the company has hit the track to preview the high-performance coupe and its GT3 sibling. The new M4 will be available with two engine variants: a 480 hp model with a 6-speed manual transmission and a Competition model with 510 hp and an 8-speed M Steptronic transmission with DriveLogic. Both models will be powered by a straight six-cylinder engine with BMW's M TwinPower Turbo technology, which will also be under the hood of the four-door M3.
