Here's a bike you don't see everyday from BMW, a big, long touring bike, a first from BMW Motorrad. Named after the most famous highway in California, the 101, BMW Motorrad and their Designworks team collaborated with famed bike designer Roland Sands to build a bike inspired by the open road and created their version of a bagger.

The 101 in the name also refers to the power sitting in this behemoth of a bike. The bike features a 1,649 cc six-cylinder engine which is also equivalent to 101 cubic inches.

The design is what you would expect from BMW, high performance lines with high performance materials such as lightweight aluminum, carbon fiber, and precision milled wood that gives the bike a luxurious touch.
