BMW's M6 is getting even more power this year with a competition package that adds 40 hp to the standard M6 engine configuration for a total of 600 hp. That means 0-62 happens in 3.9 seconds and you'll be able to reach 124 mph in just 11.8 seconds while on your way to a top speed of 189 mph. In the four-door Gran Coupe and convertible the car will hit a 0-62 time of 4.0 seconds.
More Competition tweaks include springs, dampers, and the anti-roll bars have a firmer tuning, improved traction, 20-inch M light-alloy wheels, and black chrome tipped sport exhausts. The Competition Package will be available on M6 models this July.
