BMW teases the successor of the M3 GT4

The M4 gets prepped for GT4.

BMW is teasing its new entry into GT4 with the 2018 M4 GT4. The racer is very close to production and though BMW has yet to fully reveal the actual car, the company has this very exciting sketch that's bound to get race-hungry customers drooling. The new GT is all set for testing and will be available for the 2018 racing season. 

Based on the M4 Coupe, the M4 GT4 will sit alongside the BMW M6 GT3 and the BMW M235i Racing. The car will have the drivetrain and electronics from the stock M4 while the carbon fiber hood and is taken from the M4 GTS. It will also feature carbon fiber doors, a motorsport-specific front and rear splitter, racing exhaust, and seats, brakes, and pedal boxes taken from the BMW M6 GT3.
