BMW's flagship X7 SUV is getting the Alpina treatment
BMW's biggest SUV is getting an Alpina upgrade this year with the release of the XB7. The 4.4L V8 bi-turbo produces 621 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque and gets from 0-62 in just 4.2 seconds. Top speed is limited to an incredibly fast 180 mph. Complementing the XB7's powerful engine setup is an Alpina Sport Suspension that lets you instantly adjust between a more comfortable ride or a sportier driving mode that lowers the ride height up to 1.6".
The flagship SUV will also feature a big set of optional 23" forged-alloy anthracite-finished wheels with Alpina's signature 20 spoke design. As for exterior updates, the front-end is enhanced with an Alpina front apron with large air intakes for improved aerodynamics and the rear shows off an integrated quad tailpipe setup, which flank an array of small diffuser fins. The interior will have an array of exclusive Alpina details such as a hand-finished steering wheel and Lavalina leather upholstery.
