Bentley's latest Bentayga adds the sportiness of a V8 to their SUV lineup
It might have four less cylinders, but the new V8-powered Bentayga is every bit as brutish as the W12 flagship. Under the hood is a 542-hp, 4.0L V8 with twin-scroll turbochargers that get the speedy SUV from 0-60 in 4.4 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 180 mph.
Though the V8 allows the Bentayga to keep up with some of the fastest cars on the road, Bentley also aimed for efficiency with a total range of 464 miles and cylinder deactivation helps the car achieve a combined 24.8 mpg.
Additional features to note include an optional set of carbon ceramic brakes, which is a first for the Bentayga, brake calipers painted in a special in a temperature-resistant Tornado red paint, a black and chrome grille, twin-quad exhausts, and a variety of new material options like high-gloss carbon fiber and cricket ball leather.
