Bentley's ultimate grand tourer goes into real world testing
A very production-ready Bentley Batur in a hard-to-miss "Purple Sector" paint job has entered real-world testing to ensure that the car meets all the criteria for what the brand is calling the ultimate grand tourer. Powered by a 729 hp, 6.0L W12, the engine will boast a new air intake system, modified turbochargers, revised intercoolers, and new calibrations for the gearbox and electronic stability control. Over 810 unique parts will undergo 160 weeks of testing and development when the Batur test car reaches the finish line and the Mulliner-designed vehicle will begin making its way to customers in the middle of next year.
