Audi's RS5 Coupe and Sportback get a refresh for the 2021 model year, debuting a number of new exterior refinements and an upgrade to its infotainment system. Powered by a 2.9L TFSI V6 bi-turbo engine, the cars produce 444 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, allowing for a speedy 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds (3.8 seconds in the Sportback) and a top speed of 155 mph or 174 mph with the Ascari launch edition. The design updates include a wider and flatter Singleframe grille, wider wheel arches, Sport quattro-inspired ventilation-style slits above the grille, and a new pentagon shape for the air inlets. The interior also receives a number of updates such as honeycomb-stitched seating, standard heated seats, and a 10.1" touchscreen with Audi's new MIB 3 infotainment system.
As for the editions, the Ascari launch edition (limited to 25 coupes/100 Sportbacks) features Ascari Blue metallic paint, blue brake calipers with ceramic front brakes, 20" wheels, a carbon fiber-trimmed engine cover, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel in Alcantara, Audi dynamic steering, matte alu optic side sill inlays, RS Carbon matte inlays, RS sport suspension plus, and a driver assistance package and navigation package. The Black optic (limited to 100 coupes/325 Sportbacks) model features 20" black gloss wheels, blacked out Audi rings and badges, a black roof, black gloss exterior elements, a 3-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel in Alcantara, Dynamic package, and RS Carbon matte inlays.
