Audi is previewing the upcoming Q8 with a concept that perfectly combines a couple-like lines with the imposing presence of a big, full-sized SUV. Designed to comfortably fit four passengers and their luggage, the Q8's 2+2 cabin is luxurious and sporty with a combination of Nappa and Nubuck leather set against high-gloss carbon and aluminum trim.
Audi's virtual cockpit gets further enhanced with higher resolution displays that is joined by an elegant center console that swaps out the usual button-laden surfaces with touchscreen displays.
Power will come from a plug-in hybrid 3.0 TFSI engine that produces 333-hp and 368 lb-ft of torque and works alongside an electric motor that helps the Q8 reach 0-62 in 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph. Of course, all that power is funneled to all four wheels via quattro all-wheel-drive. You can expect the new Q8 to arrive in showrooms in 2018.
