Aston Martin fully reveals the Valhalla, its upcoming "drivers supercar"
Aston Martin takes on Ferrari and McLaren with what they're calling the "ultimate drivers supercar" with the Valhalla. The company has revealed all the details this week with the announcement that production will begin in the second quarter of 2025. The Valhalla produces 1,064 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque, enabled via a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 and three electric motors.
Fitted to an all-new 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, the powertrain allows for a 0-62 time of 2.5 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 217 mph. The company took what they learned from the development of the Valkyrie and used that information to develop the active aerodynamics system that helps the supercar generate over 1,300 lbs of downforce, keeping the Valhalla stable and firmly planted in the corners at high speeds.
A radical departure from their signature grand tourers, the exterior form is exactly what you would expect from a supercar in this class. Bringing elements that are a careful balance of form and function, details like an F1-inspired roof snorkel and top-exit tailpipes deliver a world-class showcase of design and engineering.
The interior blends performance and everyday comfort with features like a low hip-to-heel driving position, one-piece carbon fiber seats, and an F1-inspired steering wheel shape. Leather and recycled carbon fiber adorn the interior and for those who want something much more elaborate, Aston Martin's Q division will have its designers and crafts people at the ready to create the bespoke supercar of your dreams.
The Valhalla is limited to 999 examples and will reach customers in the second half of 2025.
