The BMW Alpina B5 GT is the most powerful Alpina ever made
The new crown jewel in the Alpina lineup is the most powerful model they've ever produced, the Alpina B5 GT. Based on the 5 Series, the new B5 GT produces 634 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque from its 4.4L V8 bi-turbo engine. This allows for a 0-60 time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 205 mph. Available in Alpina Blue or Alpina Green, the GT also comes in Arctic Race Blue, Petrol Mica, Verde British Racing, Chalk, Imola Red, and Daytona Violet. It will also feature the latest version of their 20-spoke Alpina Classic 20" forged wheel in a Marron Volciano finish and is paired with high-performance brake calipers from Brembo. Inside, the car can be upholstered with three Leather Merino options or handmade Lavalina leather. For a deeper level of customization, Alpina also offered a limited bespoke upholstery option that features sport seats with flared side bolsters with Black Dakota Leather and black Alcantara seat centers.
The Alpina B5 GT will be limited to 250 units worldwide. As far as we know, a US release has not yet been announced or confirmed.
