Acura reveals the next-generation Integra
The Acura Integra is speeding back into dealerships next year and this week the company has fully revealed its design with a prototype of the upcoming five-sear sports car. Inspired by the Phoenix Yellow finish of the 2000-2002 Integra Type R, the new Integra makes its debut in Yellow Pearl, which was borrowed from the current-generation NSX. The 2023 Integra will be powered by a turbocharged 1.5L VTEC engine and it will be offered with a limited slip differential and most importantly, a six-speed manual transmission. Acura is keeping a tight lid on performance numbers and plans to reveal more in the first half of 2022.
The new Integra will commence production in 2022 at the company's Marysville Auto Plant in Ohio and will hit dealers soon after.
