The all-new Mustang is here and Ford's iconic pony gets a styling overhaul both in and out with a fighter jet-inspired interior and a chiseled look that's both fresh and instantly recognizable. The biggest news is the debut of the Mustang Dark Horse, the model's first performance series in over two decades. The Dark Horse is powered by a new 5.0L V8 that produces 500 hp and comes standard with a six-speed Tremec manual transmission with a 3D-printed titanium shift ball. You can also spec the car with a 10-speed automatic transmission with sport paddle shifters.
Enhancing the Mustang's new exterior, the Dark Horse takes things further with shadow graphics that flank the darkened LED headlamps and a gloss black grille with trapezoidal nostrils. There's also a Dark Horse-exclusive lower front bumper with high gloss 'fangs,' lower side skirts, a fixed rear wing, a race-inspired diffuser, and darkened quad exhaust tips. Inside, the Dark Horse embraces the future with a 12.4" digital instrument cluster that is joined by a 13.2" SYNC. 5 center stack that's angled toward the driver.
The 2024 Mustang goes on sale next summer.
